Put Me In The Story Gives Thanks to You
We celebrate the fourth Thursday of every November for many wonderful reasons, but it all comes back to the fact that we are thankful. Whether you go around the dinner table and share with everyone what you're thankful for, or you put together a colorful, paper thankful tree with your family, we use this month to mediate on the many things that we're grateful to have in our lives.
We've been busy working to bring families new ways to connect to the stories and characters they love most, and we have you to thank for supporting our endeavors in doing so. Put Me In The Story is not even a year old, and we've had many groundbreaking achievements over the past months.
Over the past several months, Put Me In The Story has taken its platform to new limits and exceeded expectations. We partnered with Macmillan to add bestselling author and illustrator Nancy Tillman's On the Night You Were Born, making this beloved classic available to personalize for the first time ever.
We launched the first title in iconic photographer Anne Geddes' collection with Twelve Days of Christmas. And we're just getting started! Next year, we'll be using Geddes' photography to anchor our new baby line with never-before-published photography.
Other new personalized edition releases include Sesame Street's What Makes You Giggle?, along with Find Me If You Can, a fresh twist on the Where's Waldo? and I-Spy experience, and just in time for National Adoption Month this November, Marianne Richmond's I Wished for You: An Adoption Story.
The latest license to join Put Me In The Story is Hello Kitty and we'll be releasing eight original Hello Kitty stories designed and written specifically with personalization as the vision. The first in the series, Hello Kitty and Me: Best Friends, is slated for release in July of 2014.
This is just the beginning—be on the lookout for much, much more to come.
Early next year, you can look forward to a new title from author-illustrator Marianne Richmond and a more extensive line of photo gift books from bestselling inspirational author Gregory E. Lang who has sold over 3.5 million of his books with messages on faith, family, and relationships.

And, just recently, Forbes took interest in our brand by focusing on Sourcebooks (Put Me In The Story's parent company) as a pioneer for personalization: "Sourcebooks is pioneering personalized books and ebooks with its new Put Me In The Story program…" They also note that "Sourcebooks has become known in the book publishing industry as a leader in innovation and you don't get that reputation by not trying new things."
