We do our best to provide accurate printing, production, and delivery times. As with any estimate, various factors may cause some orders to ship/arrive sooner or slightly later than anticipated. Please take a moment to review this information before placing your order.

Printing and Production Times

Our personalized books and gifts are made just for you! Please allow up to 4 business days for processing before your order is shipped. Here is what to expect after your order is placed:

  • Your order will be sent to a facility for processing shortly after being submitted
  • We do not review orders or personalization. All orders are printed exactly how they are keyed in by the customer. Please review all personalization before submitting the order.
  • Orders placed during the weekend are not held and will be routed to a facility for processing
  • Holidays and seasonal gift-giving periods may lengthen processing time

Business days are defined as weekdays; Monday through Friday. Weekends and federal holidays are not considered to be business days.

Our goal is to help you understand the various shipping and delivery options available. All of the shipping information provided below factors in the time to process, print, pack, and ship your order plus time in transit. Multiple Packages

Your order may arrive in multiple packages and shipments. You will not be charged for multiple packages and shipments other than the amount that appears at checkout.

How to Qualify for Free Shipping 

Our Free Shipping  offer is valid on U.S. orders with a subtotal of $65 or more and Canadian orders with a subtotal of $100 (USD) or more.

U.S. Orders

  • Product total must be at least $65 before applicable taxes, shipping, and minus any promotions, coupons, or vouchers used to discount the order
  • Qualified orders must select Economy shipping
  • The discount will be automatically calculated as a $0 option at checkout

Canadian Orders

  • Product total is at least $100 (USD) before applicable taxes, shipping, and minus any promotions, coupons, or vouchers used to discount the order
  • The discount will automatically calculate as $0 at checkout

Delivery to Contiguous U.S. 

This shipping table provides delivery information for the lower 48 states (Continental U.S.).

  • Standard Economy shipments are delivered by the U.S. Postal Service
  • If shipping to a PO Box address, please select Standard Economy shipping
  • A physical shipping address is required for Ground, Expedited, or Express deliveries

Delivery to Alaska / Hawaii / Puerto Rico / Guam

Standard Economy shipments take longer to arrive due to the extended time in transit. Delivery is made by the U.S. Postal Service, and according to their website, “the timeliness of service to or from destinations outside the contiguous U.S. may be affected by the limited availability of transportation.”

Delivery to Military APO / FPO / DPO Locations 

According to the Military Postal Service Agency, military shipments arrive to a "gateway" location stateside (New York or San Francisco). At times, shipments can take 7 to 10 days to reach the gateway. Upon arrival, shipments are sorted, bagged, and tagged to arrive at a military postal unit overseas. While commercial aircraft are very consistent, there could be a large variation in transit times due to military aircraft schedules, weather, transportation and military operations in theater, or movement of a service member's unit.

Please note: when calculating the cost of your order, all prices on our website are denominated in U.S. dollars. Your cost will reflect the U.S. to Canadian dollar conversion rate.

Delivery to the U.K. for Personalized Books

A limited number of books are available for shipment from our U.S. site to the U.K. You can also visit www.putmeinthestory.co.uk and shop directly from our U.K. site.

  • Standard shipping to the U.K. is charged in U.S. dollars at a flat rate of $9.99
  • Please allow 7–10 business days for your order arrive
  • Tracking information will not be provided once your order is shipped
  • Orders that contain personalized gifts (non-book items) cannot be shipped to the U.K.
